About the Park

The Lutherstadt Eisleben has been hosting the annual Eisleber Wiesenmarkt since 1521, which attracts about half a million visitors and around 350 showmen to Eisleben every year. The festival, called the Wiese, takes place over two weekends and is divided into the actual Wiese, which always begins on the third weekend in September and lasts four days, ending with a fireworks display on Monday evening, and the small Wiese on the following weekend with a farmers' market and a laser, light and pyro show. In addition to the well-known folk festival, food and drinks, the showmen await visitors with their classic and state-of-the-art rides.
