About the Park
On the weekend before St John's Day (24 June), the people of Lorsch celebrate their oldest traditional festival: the four-day St John's Festival. A fairground and a creative market are set up on Karolingerplatz, idyllically situated at the foot of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are musicians and artists, people dance in the shade of old trees and raise a glass - welcome to the parlour of Lorsch! Lorsch's parlour! (Source: City of Lorsch)
