About the Park
The Cologne Folk Festival takes place twice a year with a magnificent view of Cologne Cathedral! Traditionally, the colourful hustle and bustle on the fairground on the banks of the Rhine in Deutz can be experienced in spring and autumn. Visitors can expect exciting rides, cosiness in the beer gardens and a quality range of beautifully decorated floats. Another attraction of the Cologne funfair are the promotions and events organised by the 90 or so showmen. The glow of the millions of LED lights on the rides and carousels of the family funfair attract guests young and old - almost barrier-free and easy to reach on foot, by bus, train and bicycle.
