Kirchheim unter Teck - Gallusmarkt

The Gallusmarkt in Kirchheim unter Teck is a traditional event lasting several days, which transforms the entire half-timbered town into a lively festival site every autumn, continuing a centuries-old tradition. Although the actual market, one of the oldest in Baden-Württemberg, takes place in the historic town centre, the market weekend begins on Friday with the large amusement park in the Ziegelwasen car park. This area provides the classic fairground hustle and bustle and is the central hub for entertainment and a lively atmosphere. The amusement park offers a wide range of rides and attractions that appeal to both adrenaline junkies and families. For many visitors, the amusement mile is an important part of the market, creating a festive atmosphere with its atmospheric lighting and typical market smells. The colourful hustle and bustle at Ziegelwasen only ends late in the evening of the Krämermarkt, which traditionally takes place on Monday.
