Kempten - Kathreinemarkt

Autumn time is fair time: Königsplatz in the heart of Kempten is once again transformed into an exuberant fairground where visitors can experience a lot.

The Kathrein market will be opened on Friday at 2.30 pm in a festive setting with the Kempten town band and by the Lord Mayor.

On all other market days, the fair takes place daily from 11 am to 10 pm.

A special highlight is the family day on Wednesday, when all the showmen offer their attractions at reduced prices.

With over 20 different attractions and snacks, there is plenty on offer for adrenaline junkies, those who are hungry or hungry at heart, fun family rides or those seeking luck at various games and shooting galleries.

This year, the three-day traders' market will once again run in parallel:

From Sunday to Tuesday, over 60 traders will be exhibiting their colourful variety at Hildegardplatz across the city park directly to the fair. The market invites you to browse and stroll around every day from 10 am to 6 pm. From handmade leather and wooden products, traditional costumes, clothing, bags and jewellery to cosmetics, household goods and much more - there is guaranteed to be something for everyone here!

Sunday is also open for business to mark the start of the traders' market. The shops in the city centre will be open from 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

The fair is closed on All Saints' Day (1 November).
