Keller-Ranch

In the Hessian science city of Darmstadt, or rather in Weiterstadt, just a few minutes' drive from the A5 motorway, you will find the Keller-Ranch animal sanctuary. The aim of the Keller-Ranch is to take in old, rejected, abandoned and unwanted animals, as well as animals belonging to people who can no longer care for them, and to house and care for them until their "end of life". Today, the 10,000 square metre grounds of the Keller-Ranch sanctuary are home to birds, ducks, donkeys, chickens, cats, dogs, nandus, ponies, horses, sheep, raccoons, goats and many more. The Keller-Ranch sanctuary is open all year round and offers an exciting and animal-filled experience not only for children.
