Kassel - Weihnachtsmarkt

Every winter, the most wonderful time of the year begins in Kassel. Every year, Kassel's city center is transformed into a glowing fairy-tale world full of magic, scents, and music:

The Kassel Fairy-Tale Christmas Market invites you to rediscover your sense of wonder amid sparkling lights, lovingly decorated huts, and winter treats. Only here has the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle always been linked to the world-famous stories of the Brothers Grimm.

This year, the Fairy Tale Christmas Market once again invites you to enjoy romantic moments with your partner and convivial evenings with friends and colleagues. In addition to hot mulled wine and the scent of almonds, you can of course expect everything else that has made the Kassel Fairytale Christmas Market the most popular of its kind in Hesse: between Königsplatz and Friedrichsplatz, Kassel city center is transformed into a sparkling sea of lights, which you can enjoy from the Ferris wheel.
