Karls PopUp Festival Wernigerode

With the Karls Pop-Up Park in Wernigerode, the true Karls experience is coming to the Harz region for the first time. Since 19 May 2026, visitors have been able to enjoy a lovingly designed leisure area with numerous attractions for the whole family on the site of the planned adventure village. The temporary park already offers a taste of what Karls has planned for Wernigerode in the long term and is quickly becoming a popular destination for families, tourists and theme park enthusiasts.

In typical Karls style, the focus is on play, fun and enjoyment. Children can look forward to a strawberry caterpillar ride, a tractor ride, large slides and various play and climbing areas. The offering is complemented by numerous hands-on activities and family-friendly attractions. The pop-up park also presents itself in true Karls style when it comes to food: fresh strawberry cake, regional specialities and homemade products create a genuine Erlebnisdorf atmosphere.

The park’s relaxed atmosphere is particularly popular. Amidst colourful decorations, rustic stalls and lovingly designed activity areas, a place emerges that combines leisure fun with rural cosiness. The Karls Pop-Up Park impressively demonstrates what a modern family leisure offering in the Harz region can look like, and is already delighting numerous visitors.
