Kamp-Lintfort - Vatertagskirmes

Five days of funfair fun at Prinzenplatz and in the city centre

At the beginning of May, the time has finally come again: 55 showmen transform Prinzenplatz and the adjoining town centre into a colourful funfair and offer an exciting supporting programme. The funfair is opened with a barrel tapping by the mayor accompanied by a band.

As in the past, the Father's Day funfair emphasises a balanced mix of attractions for all age groups. Families as well as younger and older people should feel at home.

On the opening day, the ride operators will be offering ride tickets for €1.50 for the first hour (only valid on the opening day). The fun continues on Friday at around 10:30 pm with a firework display, on Saturday there will be a colourful fair for all visitors and on Sunday there will be free face painting for children from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Prinzenplatz bus stop. Various Disney characters will also be visiting and will be happy to be photographed.

The final event is ‘Blue Monday’. On this day, visitors can travel at a reduced price on presentation of the flyer - available in local shops and in the foyer of the town hall or an advert in the newspapers. For example, two laps can be travelled for the price of one.
