Mare and foal show / small animal show: A special feature of the cattle market is the show of horses (mares and foals) on the festival grounds at Reithagen and a small animal show in the old gymnasium at Reithagen. This typically takes place on Saturday morning.

Historical tractor and agricultural machinery show: Another traditional feature that offers a glimpse into agricultural history.

Grand parade: One of the highlights is the parade on Sunday. The parade winds its way through the streets of Hofgeismar and features colourful floats, marching groups and marching bands. The parade assembles on Max-Eyth-Straße and Bessemer Straße, with access to the assembly point via Hümmer Straße / L3212.

Traditional morning pint: On Saturday morning, a traditional morning pint takes place in the festival tent, often accompanied by music.
