Halle (Saale) - Osterjahrmarkt

The Easter Fair in Halle (Saale) is the largest spring festival in southern Saxony-Anhalt and is traditionally held at the fairground on Gimritzer Damm. In contrast to the more tranquil Easter market on the market square, the focus here is on classic fairground fun, featuring action, speed and state-of-the-art ride technology. A glittering entertainment mile springs up on the spacious grounds by the River Saale, attracting visitors from across the region.

The fairground’s skyline is often dominated by towering rides visible from afar, offering a spectacular view over the river and the silhouette of Halle’s Five Towers. The attractions range from fast-paced upside-down rides and classics such as bumper cars or the Break Dance to ghost trains and special children’s carousels for the youngest guests. The layout of the large fairground allows for wide aisles, where the typical fairground atmosphere of music, flashing lights and the rhythm of the rides can unfold to the full.

Particularly popular are the special event days, such as the traditional Family Day with reduced prices, which make the Easter Fair an important social hub.
