About the Park
The Haaner Kirmes is a crowd-puller for the region and far beyond. Every year, it attracts around 400,000 visitors to our town. It has a loyal fan base among funfair fans and is also popular with the showmen. The Haaner Kirmes offers space for around 200 rides and stalls. Every year, the town's organisation team carefully selects from the many applications to combine the familiar and tried-and-tested with new attractions and offer you a varied range of attractions. Lined up end to end, the rides and stalls would cover a length of almost 2 km with a built-up area of around 35,000 square metres.
Despite its size, the Haaner Kirmes remains one thing above all: a family festival that unites all generations. Young and old, family and friends, school classes and work colleagues meet here. For one week in September, the fair dominates public life as it is set up in the heart of our town.
