About the Park
The Michaeliskirmes in Gütersloh is a traditional folk festival that takes place in the heart of the city, around the market square and in the adjacent streets. The festival is known for its lively atmosphere and attracts visitors from all over the region.
The fair offers classic rides for young and old, from fast-paced carousels to family attractions such as a Ferris wheel and bumper cars. For the youngest visitors, there are numerous children's carousels and game booths. The culinary offerings are also diverse, ranging from typical fairground treats such as roasted almonds, candy floss and crêpes to hearty meals. The fair is a central part of the entire Michaeliswoche, which transforms the city centre into a large festival area.
