About the Park
Every year, the Oeseder Großkirmes takes place in the centre of Georgsmarienhütte. Whether it's a leisurely stroll from stall to stall or an exciting adrenaline rush on the many rides - the traditional event in the heart of Oesede town centre offers something for everyone.
With over 130 stalls, sales stands, carousels, tents and rides, the Oeseder Kirmes is one of the largest funfairs in the region!
And the Oeseder Kirmes has one thing above all: tradition! For 479 years, young and old, big and small have been celebrating the funfair together at the end of September. The anticipation of which rides will be stopping off in Oesede this time usually builds up weeks in advance.
