About the Park
For four days, the Barbarossa market will be the centre of attention in the Barbarossa town of Gelnhausen. This is one of the most important folk festivals in the entire region and attracts many visitors to our unique town every year.
The Barbarossa Market, which bears the name of our town's founder, takes place in the streets, alleyways and squares right in the centre of Gelnhausen. The beautiful ambience of our historic old town provides an ideal backdrop for strolling, lingering, enjoying and taking part. Enjoy the colourful market hustle and bustle, the cheerful people and the extensive programme. Linger at one of the many stalls and look forward to a successful festival with us.
