Gaggenau - Maimarkt

The Gaggenau May Market has been a firmly established highlight in the Murg Valley for years. It always takes place on Mother's Day weekend (second Sunday in May), lasting four days from Friday to Monday. The May market is traditionally the ‘club market’. This means that up to eight clubs usually set up their tents on the fairground, in Annemassepark and in the area of the grocers' stalls and offer visitors a wide range of food and drink.

Amusement rides

The fairground rides have been located on Annemasseplatz for many decades. A wide range of different rides are presented here. There are usually up to four large rides, four smaller rides, stalls with confectionery and around seven amusement rides, such as throwing and shooting galleries. There's something for the whole family here!

Merchant stalls

During the Maimarkt, the merchants' stalls are located in Eckenerstrasse and Jahnstrasse. Here, around 100 ‘flying’ traders present their wide range of goods such as jewellery, clothing, household goods, food, plants, cosmetics and much more.
