About the Park
Every year on the last weekend before the summer holidays, a rare fellow makes his way to Friedrichshafen: on the Saturday of the festival weekend, the Seehas is rescued from the depths of Lake Constance with drums and trumpets and several ships - giving children in particular, but also adults, an opportunity for a colourful festival.
The popular children's and local festival delights the hearts and minds of people from near and far with its many events. Sporting competitions, the fishing competition in the gondola harbour, the distribution of the "Hasenklees" (a colourful bag of games, drinks and snacks), the amusement park and, above all, the big parade in which all Häfler schools take part - the course of the Seehasenfest has hardly changed since it was founded in 1949. Food and drink are also catered for in the numerous festival gardens along the lakeside promenade.
