The Possen Leisure and Recreation Park is idyllically located in northern Thuringia, just a few kilometres from the historic half-timbered town of Sondershausen. Nestled in the wooded landscape of the Possenwald forest, it offers a varied destination for families, nature lovers and active holidaymakers.

Possen is best known for its 45-metre-high observation tower – the highest half-timbered tower in Europe – from which visitors can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Kyffhäuser, the Harz Mountains and the Golden Aue.
