Bremer Stadtmusikanten

The fairy tale "The Town Musicians of Bremen" tells the story of four animals (donkey, dog, cat, rooster) that are no longer useful to their owners due to their age and are therefore to be killed. The animals manage to escape, whereupon they meet by chance. They all follow the donkey's suggestion to become town musicians in Bremen and set off for Bremen. In the forest, they discover a robber's house, scare the robbers and drive them away by standing in front of the window and bursting in with loud "singing". A robber, who later that night investigates whether the house can be entered again, is chased away by the animals once more and for good. The Bremen Town Musicians like the house so much that they don't want to leave again and stay there.
