Erbach Wiesenmarkt – The largest folk festival in the Odenwald

The Erbach Wiesenmarkt is the most important folk festival in the Odenwald district and attracts tens of thousands of visitors to Erbach every year. The Wiesenmarkt traditionally takes place at the end of July and lasts for ten days. It delights visitors with a mixture of fairground attractions, agricultural exhibitions, culinary specialities and convivial get-togethers.

- Festive parade: The grand opening parade with numerous floats, music groups and people in traditional costumes marks the start of the festival.

By public transport:

- Train: The Odenwaldbahn (RB 81/82) runs regularly from Darmstadt, Hanau, Frankfurt or Eberbach to Erbach (Odenwald). The market grounds are only a few minutes' walk from the station.
