About the Park
The Mettwurstmarkt in Ennigerloh is a traditional folk festival that takes place every September in the town centre. The festival is known for its successful combination of a fairground with a funfair, an extensive market and a lively stage programme.
At the funfair, visitors will find a variety of rides for young and old, including Ferris wheels, bumper cars and various carousels. A special highlight is the large market, which winds its way through the town for more than two kilometres and offers everything from household goods and clothing to sausage specialities and regional products. The festival is accompanied by live music and a traditional ‘bull guessing’ competition, as well as a large fireworks display on Monday evening, which attracts thousands of visitors.
The official opening of the fair takes place on Saturday, with Tuesday traditionally being the highlight with the large market.
