Elbauenpark Magdeburg

In the north of Magdeburg, the capital of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, you will find the Elbauenpark, opened on the occasion of the Federal Garden Show in 1999. This 100-hectare play and adventure park offers a variety of flowers and plants to admire, a fallow deer enclosure, a petting zoo, the butterfly house with over 200 exotic butterfly species, various playgrounds, a slide tower, coin-operated vehicles and a 5.5-m-high climbing volcano. On the 432-metre-long and up to 45-metre-high zipline, your courage is called for as you glide along the wire rope at up to 55 km/h towards the platform. The summer toboggan run, which has also been here since 1999, invites young and old to take a great ride through eight curves.
