Eilenburg - Stadtfest

The second weekend in June will be a colourful one in Eilenburg's town centre - the town's biggest festival will be celebrated once again.

The three-day spectacle will be opened punctually at 7 pm on Friday evening by the Eilenburg Castle Association and the Lord Mayor. The programme then starts on a total of 5 stages and numerous traders and showmen invite visitors to their stands. Traditionally, the torchlight procession, the bonfire on Butzbacher Platz and the firework display are not to be missed.

All day on Saturday, clubs from Eilenburg and the surrounding area will present their skills on the stage and there will be various stands offering hands-on activities and information for individual leisure activities. In addition, the volleyball department of SV Lok Eilenburg has organised a volleyball tournament and invites everyone to let the ball fly on the bouncy castle-like playing field on the meadow next to the Nikolaikirche on the weekend of the town festival.
