About the Park
The "Gerner Dult" is and was traditionally the first Dult of the year.
In April, when the traders set up their stalls with the food, it was usually still cold. Every house in Gern was allowed to serve beer from the castle brewery in the so-called "Hausschänken".
Although the Gern castle brewery no longer exists, the tradition of the "Gerner Dult" pubs still exists.
