About the Park
The town of Delmenhorst was granted market rights by King Christian V of Denmark in 1690. In 1823, 33 market traders moved into the spring market. The term "Krammarkt" is documented for 1887 - this was also the first year that a carousel was on the market. In 1952, the showmen moved to the Graftwiesen.
The traditional invites visitors to the Graftwiesen twice a year, in spring and autumn. With nostalgic merry-go-rounds, high-tech thrills, shooting and games and various culinary delights, the place becomes a very special world of experience.
