Delbrück - Katharinenmarkt

The Katharinenmarkt on the third weekend in September is considered a superlative folk festival in the region. It is based on over 400 years of tradition as a livestock and craft market. Over four days, the farmers' market, business and sales show, market stalls, a large funfair, the lottery and the non-stop, admission-free entertainment programme attract more than 300,000 visitors to Delbrück. After Libori, the Delbrück St Catherine's Market is the largest public festival in the Paderborn district.

At the opening of the Katharinenmarkt on Friday, you can ride all the fairground rides for free from 3.00 pm to 3.15 pm.

The reunion with many beloved, traditional rides, specialities and amusements for all ages, tastes and budgets will transform Wiemenkamp and Boker Straße into a strolling mile for four days. More than 100 showmen and stallholders will be presenting their wares.

Once again this year, a varied programme for the whole family will be presented. Many attractive rides and amusement rides will provide entertainment.

The funfair and market are set up in such a way that you can visit everything in a 1,500 metre walk.
