About the Park
The Copa Backum leisure pool is located in Herten in the Ruhr region of North Rhine-Westphalia, just 6 km west of Recklinghausen and 15 km north of Gelsenkirchen. In addition to the fun and sports pool, there are also saunas and a wide range of wellness facilities. In the fun pool, the action water playground awaits children and families, as does the 80-metre-long double racer slide, the toddlers' pool and the adventure pool. In the Copa Oasis, the wellness area at Copa Backum, there is a steam bath, saunas, a restaurant, relaxation rooms and, of course, wellness offers such as massages. In the summer season, in addition to the indoor area and the Copa Oasis, Copa Backum also offers an outdoor pool with various pools and a water slide. Copa Backum is therefore a great destination for young and old in the Ruhr region all year round.
