About the Park
Every year, the Brokser Heiratsmarkt, one of the largest folk festivals in northern Germany, attracts up to 400,000 visitors to the climatic health resort of Bruchhausen-Vilsen. The grounds cover a total of nine hectares, of which around 3000 square metres are taken up by the exhibition area in the trade tents.
The Brokser Heiratsmarkt was first mentioned in a document in 1645, so the 380th anniversary of the Heiratsmarkt will take place in 2025.
A large parade under the motto: "The Brokser Heiratsmarkt through the ages" will enliven the centre of Bruchhausen-Vilsen.
Enjoy the cheerful and exuberant atmosphere on the market square and in the marquees over five days with friends or family. A variety of merry-go-rounds and tasty treats are of course also on offer. The market is guaranteed to offer something of interest for everyone.
