About the Park
In the district of Harz, or rather in Schierke near Wernigerode, which is mainly known for its half-timbered houses, the castle and the "leaning house", there has been a 341 metre long Brocken Coaster for fans of mountain coasters since 2003. Open all year round, but depending on the weather, the ride takes you past pine trees at speeds of up to 40 km/h through several steep banked curves back to the station. If you're feeling peckish, the bistro at the Brocken Coaster offers hot and cold drinks as well as fresh, home-baked cakes and other hot and cold dishes.
