Every year during Advent, the Bremen Christmas Market transforms the historic city centre into a festive and lively winter wonderland. The event is characterised by its special atmosphere, combining traditional splendour with the exciting hustle and bustle of a funfair – a combination that is unique in this form and makes the festival a special experience.

The classic Christmas market stretches out around the town hall and Roland statue (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites) in the heart of the city. In addition, the extended areas of the Christmas market actually offer fairground elements and rides – from classic carousels to temporary attractions.
