Bremen - Vegesacker Markt

The Vegesack market is a traditional event in the heart of Bremen-North.

Every year at the beginning of September, almost 100 fairground companies come to Bremen's Vegesack district.

The streets between Sedanplatz and Aumunder Marktplatz are transformed into a fairground for the whole family.

The opening parade, in which schools, day-care centres, institutions and clubs from Bremen-North take part, ensures that the event is firmly rooted in the district.

In addition to the usual fairground shops, from confectionery to snack bars (including vegan) and various games stalls, there is also a large selection of rides, from children's carousels to modern thrill rides.

In total, there is a bumper car, several large rides for young people and various rides especially for children.

The market funeral takes place on the evening of the last day on the market site.
