About the Park
In the heart of Berlin, between the "Alex" and the Hackescher Markt, at Spandauer Straße 2, you will find the Berlin Dungeon since 2013. A breathtaking journey through 600 years of Berlin history in a combination of a chamber of horrors, history lessons with moments of shock and some rides are offered to you here. During your tour of the 11 stations, professional actors reenact scenes from Berlin's bloody history. You will meet Germany's most brutal serial killer, Carl Großmann, the witch Catarina Selchow, who was burned on June 1, 1621, and the ghost of Anna Sydow. But the plague of 1576 and its consequences for you and Berlin, as well as the witch trials of the Hohenzollern secret court in 1679, which met right across from the Berlin Dungeon in the Berlin City Palace, will require your full attention. If you are brave enough, you will end the Berlin Dungeon with a 12 m high free fall. Visiting the Berlin Dungeon is recommended for children aged 10 and over.
