Rottaler Stockhaus

Also in the Bayern-Park the own roots and the care of the local traditions count. And so the Rottaler Stockhaus, first documented in 1626, welcomes all visitors right at the park entrance. Until the park was founded, the romantic farmhouse with its rich floral decorations formed the heart of the Hochholzer family's farm. Since then the main house of the rural estate has been restored to its original state. The elaborate and detailed reconstruction was carried out in the course of several deconstruction measures. However, the Rottaler Stockhaus, which was originally threatened by decay, is not managed as a museum courtyard. It is a place where people live and work as normal and so that the residents continue to feel well looked after, visits are unfortunately not possible.
