Blockbohlensauna

A special rarity in today's sauna landscapes is the only wood-fired log sauna in the sauna garden of the Bahia island spa. Early in the morning, the Bahia's staff heats up the enormous oven filled with lava stones and uses the fire under the oven to bring the stones up to temperature. The operating temperature comes up to full speed at lunchtime and then stays in the lava stones until the evening hours. The panoramic window to the sauna courtyard with the outdoor swimming pool offers relaxing sauna sessions at a comforting 90°C oven heat.
