Description
Here you can really cool off after a hot sauna session!
The walls and floor of the glacier cave are covered with fine ice crystals and icicles. The minus temperatures between -3 and -9 degrees cause the blood vessels dilated by the heat to contract again.
The contact with the snow, unlike the immersion in the ice-cold plunge pool, is not so sudden and complete, but rather gentle and purposeful. You can rub yourself with the snow at your own pace and in any amount.
Cooling down in the glacier cave is thus kinder to your heart and circulation than entering the plunge pool.
Hints:
Air temperature: -9°C
