Arnstadt - Arnstädter Wollmarkt

The "Arnstadt Wool Market" is always held in Arnstadt on the penultimate and last weekend in June. The traditional folk festival, which was first held in 1850 purely as a market for wool and natural goods, has developed into a well-known fair over the decades and is now one of the best-known folk festivals in Thuringia.

You will find big rides such as Magic, Break Dancer and other highlights as well as show shops, children's carousels, shooting and throwing booths. Of course, there is also a large selection of treats and culinary delights to enjoy at this popular folk festival. The big firework display, the family day, the tapping of the keg beer and one or two surprises from the showmen are firmly planned as highlights every year.
