About the Park
In the North Rhine-Westphalian town of Arnsberg-Hüsten in the Hochsauerland district, the Hüstner Kirmes takes place every year on the weekend around the 2nd Sunday in September on the Riggenweide. Around 300,000 visitors flock to the streets and squares of the Arnsberg district during the five days of the Hüsten funfair. In addition to the actual fairground, which offers a variety of rides for children as well as for families and adrenaline freaks, the fair offers various events with live music and the Monday market with a large animal show, which is reminiscent of the beginnings of the Hüsten fair as a cattle market. The end of the funfair in Hüsten is marked on Tuesday evening by the traditional fireworks display at around 10.15 pm.
