About the Park
In the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Alzey, about 35 km from the state capital Mainz, the five-day Winzerfest has been held every year since 1933, starting on the 3rd Friday in September. In addition to selected regional wines, good food and lots of music, the Winzerfest, which is celebrated in the old town of Alzey, also appeals to young people at the fairground and the funfair with its various fairground rides and stalls.
