About the Park
In 1966, the Aachen Zoo Euregiozoo opened between the districts of Beverau and Forst in the south of Aachen. More than 200 animal species live in an area of almost 9 hectares, which has grown steadily in recent years. In addition to numerous native animals such as the marmot, a walk-in African penguin enclosure was built a few years ago, along with a walk-in crane and stork enclosure.
Please note the seasonally adjusted opening hours:
Summer season: 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Winter season: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
