Description
A must when in Tivoli is one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the world! (
The ride leads through an artificial mountain massif, which is inspired by the Tyrolean Alps. You start by entering a tunnel where, after a lift in the dark and a steep curve at the highest point, it covers a lot of camelbacks where the brakeman comes into play.
During the ride you can catch a glimpse of the funhouse inside the mountain. There are also numerous special effects in the dark areas of the ride, which makes the ride a first-class ride in addition to the many airtime phases.
9 years after its completion, the ride had to do without its famous mountain top for a long time because the city of Copenhagen had complained about it. It was not until the 100th anniversary of the roller coaster, that it got these 26m high mountain tops back.
