Description
After crossing the raft from the mainland to Tarzan Island, you climb a wooden staircase made of salvaged shipwreck parts and cross the suspension bridge to reach Tarzan's jungle tree house. The stately tree house, overgrown with lianas and moss, shows various extracts from Tarzan's life story. Illustrations from Jane's sketchbook provide vivid details of Tarzan's life and many more stories. Enter the different areas such as the family hut, the study, the laboratory or the kitchen and see what there is to discover. You can get a special view once you have climbed the 157 steps to the very top. Here, with a stately height of 19 metres, 717 branches and more than 10,000 leaves, awaits the tree created by Disney Imagineers with the Latin name Disneydendron semperflorens grandis or "large, ever-blooming Disney tree".
