About the Park
The oldest zoo in Belgium is located in Antwerp and opened in 1843. Together with its "sister park" ZOO Planckendael, it is home to over 900 animal species. On about 10 hectares there are not only giraffes, lions and other large animals, but also bred Przewalski horses and otters. There is also an aquarium and a reptile building.
