About the Park
The Foire de Huy du 15 août is a large, traditional folk festival in the Walloon town of Huy and is considered one of the largest funfairs in the region. It combines an extensive funfair with cultural and festive traditions and attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year.

With more than 100 attractions and stalls, the Foire de Huy offers something for everyone:
Rides: The selection ranges from nostalgic children's carousels and family rides to modern and fast-paced attractions for adrenaline junkies. Visitors of all ages will find entertainment here.
Game booths: Numerous stalls invite visitors to try their hand at games of skill such as tin can alley, duck fishing or ball throwing, where they can win attractive prizes.
Culinary offerings: Countless food stalls cater to your physical well-being with typical fairground classics such as French fries, waffles, sweets and savoury snacks.
Opening hours: The fair usually opens daily at around 3:30 p.m. On 15 August, the highlight of the festival, the attractions open at 2:00 p.m.
Special highlights and celebrations
The festival is known for its special theme days and events, which set it apart from a regular fair:
Highlight on 15 August: This day is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. It is the heart of the festival and is crowned with spectacular fireworks at 10 p.m. from the Fort de Huy. In addition, the ‘Village des Confréries’, a village of gastronomic brotherhoods, takes place on the Place Verte.
The fair in Huy on 15 August is therefore not just an amusement park, but a lively festival that combines tradition, culture and modern entertainment in a unique way.
