About the Park
The Harry Malter family park has been located in Destelbergen, a Flemish municipality in the province of East Flanders, about 13 kilometres from Ghent, since 1992. The park, which is primarily aimed at families with children up to the age of 12, offers a great day out with its mix of animal park, various playgrounds and a small leisure park section. The animal park is home to desert foxes, porcupines, cockatoos, armadillos, monkeys, camels and meerkats, while the leisure park area features a 10 metre high 'n Twist Tower, a chain carousel, the Bootjes and the pirate ship. The Harry Malter family park is usually open seasonally from the end of March to the beginning of November.
