About the Park
The Aalter Fair is a large annual folk festival that transforms the town centre into a lively fairground. It is known for its diverse mix of traditional fairground elements and modern attractions, which draw visitors from across the region.
The fairground covers the market square and surrounding streets and offers a wide range of rides, from classic bumper cars and children's carousels to exciting, fast-paced attractions for adrenaline junkies. In addition to the rides, there are numerous stalls selling typical fairground treats such as roasted almonds, waffles, candy floss and savoury snacks. The fair is often accompanied by additional events such as a funfair or a flea market in the town centre.
