Wild Life Sydney

Wild Life Sydney has been located directly at Darling Harbour, next to SEA LIFE Sydney, since 2006. Originally built as a pure aquarium with the name Sydney Wildlife World, it was expanded in 2011 to include a wildlife park and renamed in the process. Unusually for a zoo, the public areas are enclosed and fully air-conditioned. A circuit of about one kilometre in length leads through the 7,000sqm grounds. Divided into 10 areas, the animals living there are themed: For example, in Devil's Den you will find the Tasmanian Devil, in Daintree Rainforest live emerald doves and cassowaries and in the 800sqm Kangaroo Walkabout you will find numerous kangaroos, whose landscape was created with 250 tonnes of red sand from Central Australia.
