About the Park
Since 1989, the Zoo Territory Wildlife Park has been located about 50 kilometres by car south of Darwin at Berry Springs. There are no restrictions on the size of the park, so that in 2022 an area of over 400 hectares can be used for the entire zoo area. Since its opening, Territory Wildlife Park has been a leader in education, tourism and research. The park is a hub for schools and tourists to learn more about the wondrous wildlife of northern Australia. In particular, the park features animals that cannot be seen in parks and zoos anywhere else in Australia or the world, such as the Australian pelican, black wallaroo or carpet python.
