Sydney Zoo

When people talk about zoos in Australia's Sydney, they usually refer to Taronga Zoo Sydney. Since 2019, the Sydney Zoo has existed not far west of the city centre (around 36 kilometres) and less than 8 kilometres from Raging Waters Sydney. On an area of more than 16ha, the zoo offers different areas for the animals. In Africa you will find zebras, lions and white rhinos; in Asia you will find orangutans, red pandas and Sumatran tigers. Dingoes or wombats can be found in the Australia section, as can emus or koalas. In addition, the zoo presents numerous fish species in the aquarium.
