About the Park
Founded in 1967, the town of Exmouth on the North West Cape in Western Australia has a population of just a few thousand; during peak tourist season, the population grows to around 6,000. At the Discovery Centre, you can dive for about an hour and a half and visit the Ningaloo Aquarium, a captivating experience for the whole family. At the Reef Gallery, you can explore the wonders of nearby Ningaloo Reef from the mainland and meet some of the reef's inhabitants. See over 100 species of fish and other animals in aquariums and terrariums. In the Range Gallery, you can learn more about the unique environment of Cape Range National Park and meet some of the reptiles that live here.
