About the Park
40 minutes north of Cairns and 25 minutes south of Port Douglas, Hartley`s Crocodile Adventures is less than 700 metres off the Pacific coast. Crocodiles are raised on an area of 10ha for mainly commercial reasons. The wildlife attractions were only added in the 1980s. At its current location, the nature park has existed since 2002, just a few hundred metres from the starting point opened in 1933. The wildlife collection includes koalas, wombats, alligators, Komodo dragons, birds of prey, exotic snakes and reptiles.
